First two weeks - wonderful and tiring

Frog Princess blanket from a friend

It has been two weeks since we have been able to bring our little girl home.  It has been a learning experience - and a wonderful one.  We forgot how demanding infants are - Alex is 5 years old now and he was a very sleepy and calm baby.  Nowaways Alex is full of energy all the time.    She is very healthy and usually pretty sweet.  Just don't get her tired or she will make sure you know she is not a happy camper.
We have really appreciated the support we have received from our family, friends, people in our ward and people at AtTask.  Thank all of you for the good wishes.  And if you see me asleep at my computer - just be nice and wake me up :)

My sister in law made this blanket that Evaleen is wrapped in here.  It is so beautiful and we are grateful that she shares her talents with us.  It will be a treasured heirloom that we will pass down.  She is great at this kind of stuff - you can see more on her blog Color me Happy in Texas
Here is another blanket that she made for Evaleen

Fun looking at Lion Fish
We visited the Living Planet Aquarium on Saturday.  Alex loves the place and has been asking to go there for a long time.  Here he is enjoying a Lion Fish :)  Evaleen decided it was a good day to sleep for the 3 hours that we were there.

We all enjoying having our new bundle of joy with us - even the cat wants to sleep with her.  Of course all of us want to get more sleep.  She is a night owl and parties a lot of the night - keeping us up.  Eventually she will sleep through the night.  As for now I am going to bed.
